Licensing to Faculty Start-ups

When a potential licensee is a faculty-associated company, the OIPDC must be sensitive to public perception. While faculty-inventor input is important in licensing decisions, we are aware of the potential conflicts of interest in this situation and must negotiate very carefully. License agreements with faculty-associated companies must meet the highest standards with respect to financial terms and diligence requirements to ensure that FSU is justified in granting rights to the technology.

Licensing FSU Trademarks (University Seals and Logos)

The Seminole Boosters regulates the licensing of FSU seals and logos. For more information you may visit their FAQ page at www.seminole-boosters.com/seminoleboosters/.
